Since I was a young teen acne has affected my self confidence. My lack of confidence held me back from doing a lot of things, and as an adult I found myself falling back into that same pattern of thought. Feeling confident about my skin has empowered me to be my true self because I remember how depressed I felt when my self confidence was at its lowest.
