Climbing Saser Kangri IV : Prem Kumar Singh | IMF Webinar Vol. 6 | Mountaineering Expedition

Climbing Saser Kangri IV : Prem Kumar Singh | IMF Webinar Vol. 6 | Mountaineering Expedition The Indian Mountaineering Foundation presents its ongoing Webinar series on Mountaineering, the Indian Himalaya and Adventure Sports. Prem Kumar Singh was a member of an expedition to Saser Kangri IV in 2016, and this webinar is his personal account of this expedition.

Mount Saser Kangri (7,416m) is a mountain lying in the Eastern Karakoram, often referred to as the "Yellow Goddess of the Karakoram". Located in a remote region which sees very little exploration and guarded by very inhospitable terrain, the mountain remains one of the few true mountaineers' peaks. Do look out for the various Google Earth images and graphics used to enhance viewer experience.

Prem Kumar Singh is a young Indian mountaineer with over 7 years of climbing experience. He has undertaken 15 expeditions, climbing all over the Indian Himalayas, including Deo Tibba, Nun, Satopanth, Trishul, Saser Kangri, Everest, Elbrus, Aconcagua and Carstensz Pyramid. He has also done winter ascents of Mt. Friendship and Mt. Ladakhi. He has also been proactively propagating climbing in Indian Himalayas across various platforms like TEDx, FICCI, CCI etc. Prem can be reached on :
