'Chairman Dan' is kicking the light at the end of the tunnel 'further and further away'

'Chairman Dan' is kicking the light at the end of the tunnel 'further and further away' Sky News host Paul Murray says “Chairman Dan” gives hope of a light at the end of the tunnel just to change the subject, then kicks the light “further and further away”.

His comment comes after Daniel Andrews refused to give clear answer to when people would be able to travel beyond the 5km radius around their home.

“Despite the fact that we are now down from the hundreds to the dozen cases or so, we’re still above that five cases for fourteen days that’ll mean you get to freely leave your house, freely go back to work,” Mr Murray said.

“Unbelievably, after this process being in place in Melbourne since July, … there is a chance that even if things get slightly better in a few weeks time, that one of the most restrictive things that exists in Victoria would still continue.

“You won’t be able to leave more than five kilometres from your house.

“When asked about it directly today, the Chairman, unsurprisingly… didn’t know.

“Light at the end of the tunnel, done so to change the subject, and then the light, of course, gets kicked further and further away.”
