After Sonic Forces' average reception and despite Mania's success, it's further highlighted that Sonic The Hedgehog's been faced with an identity crisis that goes beyond a zest for changing his game play style. In this video, I discover and enlighten how Sonic's declined and caused a split in his fandom, how unpredictable his path has become since Shadow The Hedgehog, how much the development team behind his games constantly change, and how disconnected the head of the team is with consumers and fans of the general community, using Sonic Mania as one of the bases for this discussion as well.
