Here is a quick Piano Tutorial for beginners illustrating the A Major scale and its Chords. The A Major Scale is the 4th scale in the Circle of Fifths and Its key signature has three sharps (C# F# and G#). The notes are: A B C# D E F# G# A
The A Major Triad Chords are:
- Chord I -- AC#E (which is actually A Major) + inversions
- Chord ii -- BDF# (B Minor) + inversions
- Chord iii -- C#EG# (C# Minor) + inversions
- Chord IV -- DF#A (D Major) + inversions
- Chord V -- EG#B (E Major) + inversions
- Chord vi -- F#AC# (F# Minor) + inversions
- Chord viio -- G#BD (G# Diminished) + inversions
