The Code on Social Security, 2020 is a act to amend and consolidate the various labour laws relating to social security in one law, extend social security to all employees and workers either in the organised or unorganised or any other sectors. The bill was introduced by the Union Labour Minister Mr. Santosh Gangwar. The bill was passed by the Lok Sabha on 22 September 2020 and the Rajya Sabha on 23 September 2020.
