This week for a special edition of Spotlight hosted from India, we are joined by Geetha Kannan, founder and CEO of Wequity. With over 30 years of experience, Geetha gives a lot of great advice for women in tech. She stresses the importance of continuous learning in tech in order to grow and progress in your career. She shares that you should always be open to new networks, to be confident in asking questions or for help when you need it, and to stay ahead of the learning curve in order to stay relevant. As a lifelong champion of women’s equity in tech, she also talks about the founding of her social impact company, Wequity. She explains that it is vital for us to stress equity, not just equal opportunities, to ensure that women can have equality, and that we must all work collaboratively together to truly move the needle for gender equality in tech.
