SUSD School Board Meeting Addressing SUSD Employee Safety in regards to COVID-19 During the June 9, 2020 Sanger Unified School District (SUSD) Board of Trustees meeting, at the Sanger High School MPR, President of California School Employees Association (CSEA), Rene Martinez, voiced the concerns of the CSEA members of the district, regarding what should be done and what must be done for the safety of the members, to the school board this evening. Martinez also stated that no one was informed about a member testing positive (COVID-19) at the worksite to allow members to protect themselves. Then, later in the agenda, during Item P.1 District Goals Update, Jason Stricker, Director of Pupil Services, informed the school board of new actions that will be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and forms that will be filled out to notify and protect the SUSD staff. Note at 23:32, in the video, when school board member Brandon Vang asked Stricker if there were any SUSD employees that tested positive for COVID-19. This video showcases dialogue and presentations in regards to SUSD employee safety and updated COVID-19 preventative measures and protocols.
