Lord Mann, former Labour MP, has told talkRADIO that Sir Keir Starmer has shown "significant leadership" after the Labour leader asked Rebecca Long-Bailey to resign for sharing an article containing an alleged anti-semitic conspiracy theory.
Lord Mann says the Jewish community "was up in arms" at what Maxine Peake, the author of the article shared by Rebecca Long-Bailey, had said. He told Dan Wootton that he had kept his Labour party membership card, adding "today I'm delighted that I did". Rebecca Long-Bailey is a stalwart of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
