With this profound question, the late Sayed Muḥammad Bāqir al-Ṣadr challenges us to hold ourselves to account at the depths of our souls and think about whether we are truly different to figures such as Hārūn al-Rashīd. Would the love of this world (ḥubb al-dunyā), rather than the love of God (ḥubb Allāh), and its temptations have led us to imprison Imām Mūsā b. Jaʿfar al-Kāẓim (as) too? ---
