Opambour Prophet 1 Begs Akufo-Addo To Stop Lockdown And Allow Churches To Operate I Kasatintin

President Nana AKufo-Addo on Sunday 19th April, 2020 lifted the three weeks long lockdown government imposed on two major cities, Greater Accra and Kumasi.


Akufo-Addo however announced that the ban on social gathering (including religious activities, weddings and funerals) remained unchanged.


The President stated this in his 7th COVID19 address to the nation.



Kumasi-based Reverend Opambour (also popularly called Prophet 1) on Sunday Morning called on the government to allow churches to operate even as the country has recorded more coronavirus cases.


Opambour appealed Christians and their Muslims fraternity will take precautionary measures and wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus
