From Taiwan's leader Tsai Ing-wen to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, women are being lauded for their leadership during the pandemic. At the same time several of their male counterparts like Donald Trump, Boris Johnson or Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro are accused of incompentency. But is this a revolution of women leadership, or are we seeing a crisis of competency by so many male leaders around the world?
