Can my phone tell if I’ve been near someone with COVID-19? Recently Apple and Google announced that both IOS and Android phones will be able to work together to send and receive signals from one another that may help public health officials trace your contacts with friends and with strangers, something that could be used to decrease the spread of COVID-19. Ramesh Raskar, an associate professor at MIT’s Media Lab, joins Hari Sreenivasan to explain.
